Dear Charles
Many thanks for your email.
Firstly, my mother Priscilla (Pat) Collim, is in one of your photos of the Dundonald Branch ;See below-(On the left hand side of the picture of the packers,, she is the third person from the right) I have a few photos of people from the Packing Dept, including myself. I am still learning how to work this computer, and I don’t think I am able to
email them over to you, but don’t worry I will find a way around it yet.

In the Packing Room my boss was Harry Lewis and his boss was Tommy Cook.
In 1985 I went out to the Main Gate do security on a temporary basis, but I was there for seven years, until 1992, when Bobby Jowett and I were paid off. At that time our Senior Security Officer was young Tommy Cook.
I have been reading the touching story of Mr Hugh Brown whom I sometimes called round to visit. With his daughterJennifer saying that he was on call at night to fix the boilers I think I have to say to her that “I’m sorry” as I was always the one who had call her Dad out.

I liked doing Security Officer and deep down inside I really miss the old place and all the people. My mother was the first to join and then my brother Norman.

I think Harry Lewis was the person that I got closest to. I hope that I have given you some helpful information. If you want any more please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Well all the best and keep up the good work and thanks for the happy memories.
