The Berkshire Gardens    Souvenirs of Beauty-     A challenge

   Return to Galleries

There was never a better time of the year than the months of May/June to enjoy the mature gardens at Berkshire.
The profusion of colour in the Azaelias, Rhododendrons, Flowering Cherry trees was majestic.
I am not a gardener. I cannot easily identify flowers, shrubs or trees, but I witnessed their recurring beauty for
over thirty years.   Eric Lowry, former Managing Director, has given me some beautiful
photos as seen below but.. here is a challenge-Can you add to the Garden Collection?
Have you pictures in, or of, the gardens, even in Black and White, which you might like to donate to our
Souvenirs of Beauty Challenge?.
Please email or post them to me and I shall glady return them to you.

We are keen to learn about the construction and maintainance of the gardens too.
Many wedding couples had their photos taken in the gardens.....were you one of them?
